DIRECTORS
Jon Einarsson Gustafsson is a director and producer from Iceland. He has directed feature length films, documentaries, music videos, short films and theatre shows, including the multi award winning documentary Wrath of Gods with Sturla Gunnarsson and Gerard Butler (CBC, RÚV). His films have been shown at over fifty international film festivals. Jon’s abstract aerial landscape photographs have appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines and galleries. He won a Blizzard Award for the music video Brighter Hell (The Watchmen) Jon studied directing with the late Ealing Studios master Alexander Mackendrick at CalArts. Karolina Lewicka grew up in Poland but emigrated to Canada and later to Iceland. She produced the CBC documentary Wrath of Gods and her short film In a Heartbeat was invited to 85 film festivals all over the world and won eight awards. Karolina graduated from The Poznan University of Economics and studied business at The University of Toronto. She participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus as a promising producer alongside other fifty producers from around the world. She wrote and directed the award winning short film In a Heartbeat.
